AHA Heartcode BLS (Basic Life Support) Checkoffs
For American Heart Association courses that include psychomotor skills such as CPR, students must complete an in-person skills practice and testing session to obtain an AHA course completion card. With AHA Blended Learning, the skills practice and skills test are taken together during a Hands-on Skills Session after the student completes the eLearning portion online.
To obtain access to the online module for Heartcode BLS, go to the web-site: https://www.onlineaha.org/ and under "Find a course" select "BLS". From the courses listed, select HeartCode BLS and this will bring up the HeartCode BLS course for you, which costs $28.50, Add it to your shopping cart, complete the payment process and then you will have access to the online module. The online module takes about 2 hours to complete and once the module is completed, you must print out the completion certificate and bring it to the skills practice and check-off session.
