Fall 2026 CNA Class

Registering prior to contacting us will result in cancelation of your registration.

This course is approved by the State of Wisconsin Department of Health Services and meets the 75 hour minimum requirement for Wisconsin. Upon passing the course, students are eligible to take the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Examination in order to be listed on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry (separate cost). Approximately 40 hours are to be completed online/remotely (asynchronously) and consists of web-based lectures, videos, quizzes, and assignments. Approximately 35 hours will be in-person, divided between hands-on skills demonstration at the CHES skills lab and 16-hours performing patient care at UnityPoint Health Meriter Hospital. Students must complete all online content prior to their scheduled hands-on and clinical session and attend all in-person hours of the course.

Students are required to have access to a computer and internet and must have reliable transportation. Students must meet additional requirements as outlined in the Policy and Procedures and Student Handbook, which is available upon request.

Tuesday, 10/20/26, 8:00-3:30pm - at CHES for skills lab
Wednesday, 10/21/26, 8:00-5:00pm - at CHES for skills lab from 8:00-12:30pm, then at UnityPoint Health Meriter Hospital 1:00pm-5:00pm for clinical
Thursday, 10/22/26, 6:30am-12:45pm - at UnityPoint Health Meriter Hospital for clinical
Friday, 10/23/26, 6:30am-12:45pm - at UnityPoint Health Meriter Hospital for clinical
Saturday, 10/24/26 - No Class
Sunday, 10/25/26 - No Class
Monday 10/26/26, 8:00am-3:30pm - at CHES for skills lab and exam review
Wednesday 10/28/26, 7:30am-2:00pm - at CHES for Wisconsin Nurse Aide Exam (knowledge and skills exams)
