Heartcode BLS - Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (AHA) (Blended)

Need more flexibility?

You may take the bulk of your blended BLS course on-line through the American Heart Association and then complete a hands on skills session at the Center for Healthcare Education and Simulation (CHES).

To do this for Basic Life Support (BLS) which is required for most healthcare providers (nurses, doctors, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, respiratory therapists, nursing students, etc):

• Go to the web-site: https://shopcpr.heart.org/heartcode-bls to take the online portion of "HeartCode BLS". This online course takes approximately 2 hours and the cost is $32.50
• Print your certificate of completion of the online portion of the course.
• Register for a Hands on Skills Session (see dates below) or call CHES, 227-2292 ext 1, and state "I completed BLS Heartcode online and need to schedule my BLS skills session". The cost of the skills session is $40 and you will need to bring your certificate of completion of the online portion of the course to CHES.
• Your skills session will take up to 90 minutes and is completed at CHES.
