Need more flexibility?

You may take the bulk of your First Aid course on-line through the American Heart Association and then complete an in-person skills session at the Center for Healthcare Education and Simulation (CHES).

To do this for Heartsaver First Aid:

  • Complete the online portion on the following website: https://shopcpr.heart.org/heartsaver-first-aid-online
  • Print your certificate of completion of the online portion of the course.
  • Register for a skills Competency Check (see dates below) or call CHES, 227-2292 ext 1, and state "I completed Heartsaver First Aid online and need to schedule my skills session". The cost of the check-off is $15 and you will need to bring your certificate of completion of the online portion of the course to CHES.
  • Your skills check-off will take up to 30 minutes.
