Infant/Child CPR for Family and Friends (AHA) (Classroom)

This brief course is ideal for parents, grandparents, caregivers and others interested in learning how to save an infant’s or child’s life but does not need a course completion card for a job or other requirements.   This introductory CPR course covers skills for infants (birth to age 1) and children (age 1 to puberty) includes:

• Infant CPR (compressions and breaths)

• Infant choking relief

• Child CPR (compressions and breaths)

• Child choking relief

• Introduction to AED use

The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in all AHA courses and has developed instructional materials for this purpose.
