What course should I enroll in for CPR?

Infant CPR ($20):
This is an introductory CPR course for anyone who does not need a course completion card for a job or other requirements. This brief course is ideal for parents, grandparents, caregivers and others who take care of infants. This course covers skills for infants from birth to 1 year old:

  • Infant CPR (compressions and breaths)
  • Infant choking relief

Adult and Child CPR ($20):
This is an introductory CPR course for anyone who does not need a course certification card for a job or other requirements. This course covers skills for adults and children (age 1 to puberty):

  • Hands-only CPR for adults
  • Child CPR (compressions and breaths)
  • Introduction of adult & child AED use
  • Adult and child choking relief

Heartsaver CPR/AED ($55):
This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training but needs a course certification card in CPR/AED to meet job or other requirements. The course covers:

  • Adult CPR (compressions and breaths) and AED use
  • Child CPR and AED use
  • Infant CPR (birth to age 1)
  • Choking relief in adult, child and infant

With successful completion of the course, including a skills test, participants will receive a Healthcare CPR/AED course completion card valid for 2 years. This course is ideal for childcare providers or those looking to adopt. The course includes classroom instruction, American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR/AED book and Heartsaver certification card.

Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider (BLS) Renewal and Recognition ($65):
This course is designed for healthcare professionals to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR to victims of all ages, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. The course includes classroom instruction, American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS book and a BLS course certification card. Participants must have an active BLS card to take the renewal course.
